Nepali congress election – Cl@sh

1:42 AM

Nepali Congress Election Committee said the votes of the party’s presidential run-off would be counted today itself.

The party office secretary Pradip Parajuli said the vote count would begin at 8 pm today at the Rastriya Sabha Griha.

Earlier, it had been reported that the Committee was unwilling to count the votes today as the Committee members and staff were tired while the supporters of a contender Sher Bahadur Deuba were pressing for the counting at the earliest.

Deuba is likely win the race as he was just short of 11 votes in the phase-one poll held on Sunday.
