women come in looking for wedding dresses that they won’t see anywhere else. We’ve always really steered away from the ‘fairy tale’ gowns and focused on silhouettes that are simple and elegant but still sexy and flattering across many body types,” says Aflalo. “I really think brides are moving away from overly ornate dresses and looking for simple, more revealing cuts. That includes dresses with a bit of transparency in the lace to reveal the undergarments, minimal halter necks, and midriff-baring two-piece looks. The amount of skin depends on your personal preference, but there’s certainly nothing wrong with showing a little skin in all the right places.” A low back and low front is the perfect way to elongate the top half of your body but still make you feel both beautiful and sexy on your wedding day.” Says Aflalo. “You also don’t need a tight, body-hugging dress to achieve the sultry wedding day look. Try a more relaxed fit or a dress that ties at the waist with smaller hints of sexiness, like a loosely draped floor-length gown with a straight neckline and tiny straps to accentuate the arms, shoulders, and back, or a gown with a kimono sleeve and a plunging neckline that ties to bring attention to the bride’s figure.” -
