Two people were killed when a tractor met with an accident at Kulaketol in Triveni VDC-9 on Thursday afternoon. The tractor (Ga. 1 Ta. 1829) was carrying stones from Hubas VDC-3 to Arthunge of Triveni when it fell off the road. The deceased have been identified as the tractor driver Bir Bahadur Nepali,29, of Urampokhara, Parbat and Suraj BK, of Birgha VDC in Syangja. Two others–Nikhit Gandharva and Arjun Sunar of Hubas VDC were injured, according to the District Police Office. They have been sent to Waling of Syangja for medical treatment. Meanwhile, one person died after being hit by a tipper truck in Hatibangai of Rupandehi today. Dip Pujan Ahir,60, of the locality was riding a cycle when he was hit by the tipper (Ra. 1 Kha. 842). He died on the spot, according to District Police Office, Rupandehi. Following the incident, irate locals set the tipper ablaze. -
