Ropai in Nepal

From a mile away, we could hear the chorus of Ho ho male ho, ho ho male ho with the fusion of people’s screams and laughs. From the top of hill, we could see that thousands of people had gathered in the paddy field of Bachhebuduwa, Pokhara-18 to celebrate Ropai festival. The event was organized by Nepal Tourism Council.
The bird view wasn’t enough so we roared our bike to the festival spot. We were greeted by the villagers and tourism entrepreneurs with million dollars smiles. There were also many tourists who had come to see the Nepali festival. There were also few tourists who hesitated to dive in the muddy water but after some time we could see them all screaming & wrestling with their friends in their muddy paradise.
