April 8: The election of the Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentary executive members has started in Singha Durbar on Friday.Of the 37-member panel, today’s election will elect 22 members from the contending 42 lawmakers.NC lawmakers will elect one member from each of the seven federal provinces and the remaining 15 will be elected as part of the inclusive proportional representation categories.”We are using electronic voting machine, so the results will be public immediately after the election,” said election committee coordinator Ramesh Rijal.
