The Nawalparasi District Court on Friday remanded Manisha Gharti Magar’s boyfriend Rudra Narayan Chaudhary in custody for seven days.The 22-year-old youth was detained after Manisha, the teenage sister of Nepal national football team striker Bimal Gharti Magar, was found dead in a suspicious condition in her house in Bardaghat yesterday. After the discovery of the body, police suspected the 17-year-old girl was murdered.During interrogation, Chaudhary told police that the couple had quarreled on Wednesday afternoon. When he returned her home in the evening in an inebriated state, they had another round of fight in which, according to Chaudhary, they had exchanged blows.
