Manisha Gharti Magar, younger sister of Nepal’s ace footballer Bimal Gharti Magar. Acting on information from locals, police had found Manisha (17) dead at her house on Thursday morning. No family member was around at the time of the murder, which, police believe, was committed at around 10 pm on Wednesday. While the victim’s mother had gone to Butwal, Bimal is in Belgium. Police, quoting locals, said Manisha and Ashish, a friend of Bimal, were lovers. A police official involved in the investigation told Onlinekhabar, quoting villagers: The two were lovers. The boy’s family had accepted their affair, but the girl’s family had not. Police are investigating the case, taking Ashish as the main suspect.
